AME Trade

AME Trade has over 20 years experience producing conferences in 29 African Countries in the mining, energy, finance and oil & gas sectors.

In 2020, I researched and wrote WEST AFRICA: Paving the way for regional collaboration in shared mining infrastructure projects. The report included interviews with Stéphane Brabant, Head of the Africa practice at international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, Malick N’Diaye, Deputy CEO, Guinea Alumina Corporation, Ismaël Diakité, Chief Representative & Deputy Managing Director at SMB-Winning Consortium Simandou, Jeffrey Ovian, General Manager of Niron Guinée, and Frédéric van Haute, Al Rawda’s general manager in Liberia.

A few years earlier, in 2016, I produced a coffee table book on South Africa’s Renewable Energy projects on behalf of the Development Bank of Southern Africa, and in 2014 covered the Public Private Partnership (PPP) conference in Johannesburg.
