In 2004, I co-founded the spectrum policy newsletter, PolicyTracker. For the next two years, I drove the editorial direction of a highly technical publication focused on the freeing up and regulation of the radio spectrum.
Not only did I contribute a high number of articles to the monthly 16-page document, I also worked closely with sales to help build relationships and the brand to drive subscriptions. The result of these efforts was securing high profile customers including Vodafone, O2, UK communications regulator Ofcom, as well as several European regulatory bodies. Towards the end of the period, we put together PolicyTracker’s first conference, where I presented and moderated a session.
In 2006, I negotiated the sale of my 50% in the business to pursue other interests.
